Cocktails | Oxton Bar & Kitchen (OBK)
Oxton Bar and Kitchen - situated in the centre of attractive Oxton village among shops, bars and restaurants, this former John Smiths pub built in 1969 has been tastefully converted into a smart comfortable single room lounge bar. There is a strong emphasis on quality food ranging from sandwiches and snacks to full meals available daily until 9.30pm (9pm Sunday). Guest beers are usually all from local micro breweries.

Espresso Martini
Vanilla vodka, coffee liqueur and Illy espresso shook up and served straight up.

 

Oxton Mule
Marmalade vodka, shook with raspberry liqueur and fresh lime juice, topped with ginger beer.

 

Elderflower Fizz
Chase vodka, elderflower liqueur, lemon juice, sugar syrup & egg white, shaken and topped with soda.

WHISKEY

Maple Julep
Pure maple syrup and  Rittenhouse Rye American whisky churned over ice in a Julep tin, with a mint bouquet.

 

Whiskey Sour
Fresh lemon juice, sugar syrup, egg white and Buffalo Trace bourbon, shook with Angostura bitters, served on the rocks.

 

Manhattan
Rittenhouse Rye whisky, Antica Formula sweet vermouth and Angostura bitters stirred over ice.

BRANDY

Pisco Sour
1615 Pisco, lemon juice, lime juice, sugar syrup and egg white, double shaken and served straight up in a coupe, bitters garnish.

 

Ginger Flip
Fresh cream and cinnamon syrup, shaken with ginger liqueur, a whole egg, and cognac, served straight up with shaved cinnamon.

 

Raspberry Alexander
Muddled raspberries, with chocolate & raspberry liqueurs, cognac and cream, served straight up.

RUM

Daiquiri
Fresh lime, sugar syrup and Havana white rum, in perfect proportions straight up (if you insist we will muddle a few fresh strawberries too).

 

Mai Tai
Fresh lime juice, almond syrup, Appleton V/X rum, Brugal Extra Viejo rum, Rhum orange and Angostura bitters, served tiki style!

Passionfruit Caipirinha
Fresh lime muddled with sugar syrup, white sugar, fresh passionfruit and Germana Cachaça (yes we know it’s not technically rum, it’s ‘Brazilian sugarcane spirit’!) served long straight from the tin.

SPARKLING & SANGRIA

House Sangria
Muddled berries, with lemon juice, cinnamon syrup, cognac, raspberry liqueur and white wine all shook up with a mint bouquet.

 

Death & Co. Royale
London dry gin, cointreau, maraschino liqueur and lemon juice, shaken, double strained and topped with prosecco.

 

Bellini
Peach puree & liqueur stirred with prosecco.

TEQUILA

Margarita
Fresh lime juice, agave nectar, Cointreau & El Jimador Blanco tequila, served on the rocks with a half salted rim.

 

Paloma
Fresh lime and grapefruit juice, shook up with sugar syrup and El Jimador Blanco tequila, served tall over ice with a salted rim, topped with sparkling water.

GIN

Raspberry Gin Fix
Fresh raspberries muddled with old Bols Jenever gin, raspberry liqueur, fresh lemon juice and sugar syrup served straight up.

 

Corpse Reviver ♯ 2
Equal measures of Beefeater Dry gin, Cointreau and Lillet Blanc shaken up with La Fee absinthe and fresh lemon juice, served straight up.

 

Singapore Sling
Fresh lime, grenadine, Angostura bitters, Beefeater Dry gin, Benedictine, Cointreau & Cherry Heering, shaken up with fresh pineapple juice.
